Known as one of the top ten beaches to visit on the planet it attracts literally hundreds of thousands of visitors annually from all around the world. Manly Beach Manly Beach is well within the city reaches. Take the ferry across the harbour on a day trip getaway to visit this cosmopolitan beachside locale. Mums, Dads and kids love this Sydney beach. Amble through the Corso, then find a sandy patch of beach or some shade under the Northfolk Pines. Visit Manly Beach
Palm Beach Palm Beach is bounded by the open ocean on the east side and the tranquill Pittwater on the west making it an ideal location for surfing, swimming, boating, fishing, diving, beach games and relaxing. Cronulla Beach Cronulla Beach is the one beach where you can catch a city train virtually to the waters edge. When you come off the station platform just walk straight across the road and down Beach Park Avenue (which is a semi arcade/lane) two hundred meters. The path leads right to the Beach. Balmoral Beach Balmoral Beach is a safe, family friendly beach inside Sydney Harbour and one I should mention. Like an oasis amongst the suburbs this semi well concealed gem takes a bit of getting to but once your there it certainly is a place to treasure and remember. Visit Balmoral Beach
Avalon Beach Avalon Beach is nestled between two imposing headlands out on the northern peninsular and has wonderful ocean pools tucked away at the southern end of the beach which are ideal for safe swimming. The chic village offers boutique shopping and cafes while still maintaining a very natural vibe. Visit Avalon Beach

One of my favorites is Bundeena in the Royal National Park simply because I really enjoy the ferry ride over to it and then I can spend all day there with hardly anyone around and it's always calm and peaceful. So please tell us which is your favorite beach?
