Follow Anzac Parade all the way until you see it sign posted. Park at the end of the street and enter down the stairs to the beach next to The Coast Golf Course. This is one of the Sydney secret beaches you can catch a public bus to making it an easy city getaway for the day.
a protected haven in sydney's eastern suburbs
This stretch of coastline is wild and raw but Little Bay is nicely protected, a coastal haven sporting a half moon shape beach with a natural lagoon which provides safe swimming amongst the rock features. Unless the wind and swell are up from the S/SE you can find shelter from most other prevailing conditions. There’s a nice little rock pool that was made early last century like so many others that are dotted around the Sydney coastline. This a great way for infants to get wet with parent supervision. If you have time on your side and you feel like exploring you can discover the natural beauty by taking a cliff top coastal walk. Watch out! If you walk too far south you might find yourself around the corner and heading into Botany Bay. While you’re out that way you might as well take a little look at Bare Island and Congwong Bay. Bare Island was the setting for the Laboratory scene in the Mission Impossible II movie. This area is on the north shore to Botany Bay an almost remote are. Very interesting landscapes and foreshores prevail here for those budding photographers with a niche for something different view map of the area?
Thanks for visiting, have a great day and don't forget to get out there and...
