Alternatively, for a small fee you can join one of the MCA staff for a guided tour followed by coffee and cakes in the café which will still fill your day well and give you the experience of being a cultured visitor while in and around Sydney. If you would like to enjoy a coffee with friends or maybe lunch try the mca cafe, it has spectacular views of Circular Quay, is recommended by the Sydney Cheap Eats guide and is an ideal extension of any visit.
Exhibitions by local and international artists are constantly changing and the MCA has announced plans to make this museum a global hub for contemporary art and ideas by 2011.
