Picnic food ideas are everywhere when you need something for that special meal with friends or family. Planning an enjoyable meal is important but the company you keep is also what will make for fun and memorable times.

If you’re planning a quick get together with friends you’ll want to find a nice place to go and get a hold of some
good picnic food to fill those hungry stomachs or if it’s a romantic occasion then you’ll need some romantic picnic food ideas as well.

A good rule of thumb is to only pack 3 or 4 dishes any more than this and your easy ideas can start to get a little out of control. Tip! pack an extra loaf of unsliced bread and whoever is still hungry at the end can load up on crusty morsels and cheese or something similar.

Food you don’t have to cook onsite allows more time for other things such as games and conversation.

Good food ideas might include well chosen portions of seafood. Prawns are always a favourite served up with some seafood sauce or traditional tartare sauce, and consumed along with white wine or beer. You might relish some gourmet picnic recipes that can be salivated over by those who appreciate fine foods and flavours along with good wine, easily prepared sandwiches, cold foods, picnic desserts and what about some luxury Belgian Chocolates?

Favorite beverages such as coffee, tea, mineral or soda water along with fruit juices, cordials and or soft drinks should be included for young and old alike. Tip! Remember to keep plenty of water on hand so everyone can remain hydrated.
