Thanks for browsing this page. It's really just an extension of my About Me page and what I'm doing now. But you came to this page because you wanted to know more about how you can work from home and be your own boss.

Previously, in my quest to educate myself, build a website and and find freedom, I spent quite a few $$$ and joined the odd program or two but didn't find what a novice like me needed. Sadly I discovered that out later not earlier!

Those programs had me going so fast I was about to orbit. Funny enough, they never taught the basic fundamentals, like how you should do a page layout, or how descriptions, titles and keywords really worked together. Tutorials would arrive almost every day along with the next best thing to purchase that would help get my site ranked and popular with traffic. I tell you honestly, it sent me into meltdown about to go out of my mind. I couldn't cope! thats me in the picture below.

In a very short time I fried my brain trying to keep up I could not just do it at my own pace because the info was being blasted into my inbox quicker than I could read it. Finally, as I start to lag because I couldn't apply everything as quick as it was sent to me, it became far too overwhelming to deal with and so I ended up going into meltdown. I gave it a BIG MISS for nearly a year. That was a whole year wasted! not to mention the time spent trying. Oh yeah, I did manage to pick up some things...

The need for a better system

I most important thing I knew was that I wanted to be in control of my website and not letting someone else be the webmaster. I wanted to be able to go to it at any time, any place and be able to add to it or make necessary changes instead of relying or waiting on someone to do it for me.

I still had one obstacle to overcome. I didn't know any html or any programming like Dreamweaver. In fact I'm still waiting for a mate to show me how to use it. I know it offers many alternatives to page presentation, layouts and graphics. But until then... I'll stick with what I've got.

I needed something that taught me systematically and progressively. A program that would help me, or the complete technophobic. A program that showed how to build a site, deal with getting the traffic, getting it ranked, linking in and out etc. A step by step program.

My priority was to work from home get a site up and running and I really did not want to delay any longer. Then BINGO! I struck the Jackpot. I came across Sitesell's SBI, the exact thing I was looking for.Funny how that works at times when you need it hey?

Previously, I didn't even realize the important things that were involved with building a website. It was probably a good thing for me that I had the break from it all. In doing so I took a step back and away so I could view things with a broarder perspective.
